Can't believe its been so long! 

This year has been an exciting time for me as I've been engrossed in several new pieces, involving some exciting new techniques, which culminated with the Cruel and Curious, 'Hinterland' show at the North Cornwall, National trusts, Stowe Barton Barns this September...

                                     

For the whole of this month 'August', a selection of my Verre Eglomise glass panels will be on show and available to buy from the National trust cafe in Boscastle, Cornwall, UK. 

Really nice to finally see the set up together, 

There will be more on show and for sale at the cruel and curious art event in September. Where you can also chat to me...

 Gosh! It's been ages since I've written a blog... it's been a busy few months here in my new studio, There's been lots of new work on the go and amongst commissioned pieces, I've been working on a series of glass jelly fish verre eglomise panels

This panel is a specially commissioned one that measures 150cm by 50cm

Here's a close up of the detail...

The pieces are inked and painted and then water gilded in silver leaf. Details of pieces for sale and gallerys carrying the work are to follow soon

This week I've been busy working in the studios of 

Rough Old Glass where I've been illustrating a glass panel of butterflies this glass panel will also eventually be gilded in silver, using a technique called 'Verre Eglomise'.

This piece is heading for the Surface Design Show at the Business design centre at the beginning of February.
